Sooraj Pancholi’s maiden film Hero, produced by Salman Khan, may be months away from hitting the screens but the youngster is already hot property in the circuit.
Buzz is, Salmans protg has bagged this as his second film.
The film is being produced by Subhash Singh yes, the same Subhash Singh who was Katrina Kaifs make-up man for years before being fired for turning up late at the shoot of Jagga Jasoos. This will be Subhashs second venture after Chalk And Duster which is progressing at a rapid pace.
Not just that, Jacqueline will play the female lead opposite Sooraj. Subhash, who has worked with the Kick actress, is certain she would be perfect for the role.
And wait, the surprise doesnt end there. Buzz is, Subhash is headed to ask Sridevi to play Jacquelines mother in the film.
Sridevi was approached to play Sonam Kapoors mom in the Freaky Friday remake earlier but turned it down as she didnt want to play an on-screen mother to a grown-up. However later, she accepted English Vinglish where she played mom to two kids, mainly because the film centred around her. Now, it remains to be seen what she has to say about being Jacquelines mom. Will she bite the bait?
